Aactive Pool League

About Aactive Coin Machines

Aactive Coin Machines was founded in 1960 by Maurice Basset, starting with pinball machines and record jukeboxes placed at locations across Manitoba. As the industry grew, video games and CD jukeboxes were added to the lineup. In the late 1970s, Maurice’s sons, Bob and Ted, joined the business, and in 2006 they purchased Aactive Coin from their father.

Since 1994, Aactive has proudly operated the Aactive Pool League, now recognized as the second-largest VNEA Charter in the world. The league is led by Scott Morgan, who served as President of the VNEA Board in 2023 and 2024 and continues to serve on the board today. Aactive has also operates a Junior Pool League program ran by Dave Leather. Bob, Ted and Dave are all inducted into the VNEA Hall of Fame and Scott is a recipient of the Meritorious award which is the highest honor the VNEA gives.

In 1999, Aactive expanded further with the creation of the Aactive Dart League, led by Paul Krenz. Paul made history in 2019 as the first non-U.S. President of the National Dart Association.

Today, Aactive provides a wide range of coin-operated entertainment equipment, including Valley and Dynamo pool tables, AMI & TouchTunes internet jukeboxes, Arachnid dart boards, AMI Trivia, and a curated selection of arcade games. In addition to long-term placements, we also offer party rentals, bringing fun and entertainment directly to your special events.

We are conveniently located at 41 Burnett Ave, Winnipeg (off Gateway between Springfield & McLeod).
