March Pool Blog
Welcome to my Mach Blog!
Most of our leagues will be wrapping up in the next few weeks. Please use the last weeks of your league to get all of your players qualified for the Season Ending Playoffs. The weeks required for players to play in their respective leagues playoffs are as follows:

SANCTION FEES
There are still many players that have not paid their sanction fees.
Winnipeg Leagues – The cost is $40 for Cash Plus and Lower and $60 for Vegas and higher. If we collect your Sanction fee after the season ends on April 11th, we will charge you an additional $10. We don’t want the extra money, but there needs to be a punishment for tardy payment.
Rural Leagues – The cost is $40 for all of our Rural Leagues. If we collect your Sanction fee at your leagues playoffs, we will charge you an additional $10. We don’t want the extra money, but there needs to be a punishment for tardy payment.
Congratulations to all the teams and players who traveled out to Edmonton for the 25th Annual WCVNEA Championships. This year was the largest event we have ever had and Aactive sent the most players to the event ever!!
The Singles poster for the Brandon League went out today (February 27th) and the Winnipeg League Singles Poster will go out at the start of March. The Winnipeg Singles will be based on your CSR ranking.
Lastly, I would like to announce the newest member of the Aactive Pool League to be inducted into the VNEA Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Dave Leather! For all he has done to support the pool league and pool in general in Manitoba. Dave will be inducted on Monday, May 26th at the Suds & Chips Mixer during the VNEA Championships at the Westgate Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. If you are traveling to Las Vegas this year for the tournament, I hope you will stop by and support Dave on this great honor.
That’s it for this month!
