Pool League Monthly Update
Good afternoon.
Monthly Update
We have observed a significant increase in postponed or forfeited matches this year. While we recognize that schedules can be demanding, participants committed to league play with the understanding that matches would be held on the designated night for the next seven months. We kindly request all teams and players to schedule other commitments on alternate evenings. Should this issue persist, monetary fines for cancellations may be implemented.
Entries are now being accepted from players and teams for the 2026 WCVNEA Championships. Please note that no entries will be processed without payment. The following criteria must be met to be eligible:
- A minimum of 8 weeks of play by Friday, January 16th.
- Sanction Fee must be paid.
- League Fees must be current.
- All payments should be sent to payments@aactivecoin.com.
- All teams and individual players must register online at https://wcvnea.ca/sign-up/.
In January 2026, three new leagues will commence: the Winter Monday Handicapped League, the Winter Thursday Handicapped League, and the Winter Scotch Doubles League. Posters with further details are available on the Aactive website.
The Mowat League Playoffs will be held on January 3rd at Crazy 8 Billiards. Schedules will be released via the CompuSport app prior to Christmas. Please be reminded that all participating teams must ensure that each player has played six matches and paid their sanction fee to qualify for the tournament. Exceptions will not be permitted.
The Brandon Leagues Mid Season Tournament is scheduled for January 9th to 11th at The ANAF in Brandon. Schedules will be published on CompuSport before Christmas. To qualify, each participant must complete seven weeks of play and pay the sanction fee.
Finally, the Aactive Coin team extends warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Please be advised that our office will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th and will reopen on Friday, January 2nd.
See you in 2026!
