Mid-Season Update and Important Announcements
As we move into the second half of the league season, I hope everyone has had a restful break and feels prepared to tackle the remainder of our schedule.
EMT Payment Update
Please note that Lisa Cooper has retired. Going forward, when submitting an EMT (Email Money Transfer), send your payments to payments@aactivecoin.com. The account is set for direct deposit and does not require a password. If you have any questions regarding your team’s financial status, you may contact either:

Make Up Matches and New Rules
After reviewing all outstanding make up matches, it is clear some teams will be exceptionally busy. As a result, new rules have been established for matches not played. Teams that fail to complete all scheduled matches will still be responsible for paying both the league fees and the table fees for those unplayed matches.
If your team needs to schedule make up matches, please contact me for assistance with table availability at the various locations. Do not simply arrive at a venue on league night expecting tables to be available. Once arrangements are made with me, I will update the schedule to reflect these changes. After the schedule has been updated, you must also contact the location directly to confirm your booking.
WCVNEA Championships Registration
The registration deadline for the WCVNEA Championships is Friday, 2026-01-16. All registrations must be completed via the WCVNEA website (wcvnea.ca). After you submit your form, I will receive an email with your details. I will review your registration to ensure all information is correct and then send you a confirmation email along with the payment instructions. Please note that registration is not final until payment is received.
New Leagues Starting Soon
We are excited to announce several new leagues beginning in the coming weeks:
- Winnipeg: Winter Monday Handicap League, Winter Thursday Handicap League, and Saturday Scotch Doubles League. The sign-up deadline for the Monday and Thursday leagues is Friday, 2026-01-09, while the deadline for the Scotch Doubles League is Thursday, 2026-01-15.
- Brandon: Winter Monday Ladies Singles League, Winter Saturday Singles League, and Winter Scotch Doubles Saturday League.
