Pool League Update
We have made it to the half way point of the pool league season. That went by quick!
I have noticed a large amount of matches that have been canceled so far this year. More than normal. It is expected that all teams play all of their scheduled matches before the end of the season playoffs. There is a week set aside in February to help teams make up matches. If you have already organized your make up matches, contact me and I will book the table for you at the location. This will help with locations being over booked.
2024 Winter Pool League
The poster for the 2024 Winter League can be found on the Aactive website. Sign up deadline is Friday, January 12th. The season will start the week of January 15th. All the information that you ill need to form your team can be found on the poster, but if you have any questions, please contact me.
Pool League Handicap Playoffs
The Handicap Playoffs will take place on the weekend of January 6th & 7th at Crazy 8’s Billiards. The Thursday League will start and finish on Saturday. The Monday League will start on Saturday and finish on Sunday. To qualify for the playoffs, all players MUST play 6 weeks. All matches in the two leagues MUST be completed by Friday, December 22nd.
WCVNEA Championships
The WCVNEA Championships will once again be held at the River Cree Hotel & Casino in Edmonton, Alberta on February 15th to 19th. To qualify for the event, players MUST have 8 weeks of play by Friday, January 19th. Friday, January 19th is also the Deadline to enter the event. All Aactive players must enter through me. We will open registration on December 1st. NO ENTRY ACCEPTED WITHOUT PAYMENT. Teams must go to the WCVNEA website to enter their team. The link to enter your team is – https://www.wcvnea.ca/entry
Holiday Hours
The Aactive Pool League office will be closed starting Friday, December 22nd at Noon and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd.
